Who We Are

Collar to Collar ("we," "us," "our," "CTC") is a career-pivot platform currently operating in beta. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have over it.

What We Collect

  • Account info: name, email, and any info you provide at sign-up.
  • Resume and career data: resumes, work history, skills, target roles, and quiz responses you submit for scoring or roadmap features.
  • Usage data: pages visited, features used, and general analytics via PostHog to help us improve the product.
  • Employer/job data: if you are an employer, job postings, company info, and hiring activity.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive data unless explicitly required for a specific feature.

How We Use It

  • To generate your resume compatibility scores, pivot roadmaps, and job matches.
  • To operate, maintain, and improve the platform.
  • To communicate with you about your account.
  • We do NOT sell your personal data. Full stop.

How We Share It

  • With service providers who help us run the platform, bound by confidentiality obligations.
  • With employers only when you actively apply to a posting through the platform.
  • We will never share your resume or profile data with employers passively or for a fee.

AI Processing

Resume scoring and roadmap generation use AI models including third-party APIs. Your submitted content may be processed by these services solely to generate your results, not used to train external models unless you are separately notified and consent.

Your Rights

  • Access and export: you can request a copy of your data at any time.
  • Deletion: you can delete your account and associated data with one action.
  • Correction: you can update your information directly in account settings.

Data Retention

We retain your data as long as your account is active. Deleted accounts are purged from active systems within 30 days.

Security

We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit and access controls to protect your data. As a beta product we are actively hardening these protections.

Beta Notice

Because this product is in active development, features, data structures, and this policy may change frequently. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notice.
